Moses & Islam:-
5: 44 It was We who revealed the law (to Moses); therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews by the Prophet who bowed (as in Islam) [aslamoo] to Allah's will by the Rabbis and the doctors of Law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men but fear Me and sell not My Signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed they are (no better than) unbelievers.

751 Rabbani may, I think, be rightly translated by the Jewish title of Rabbi for their learned men, Jewish learning is identified with Rabbinical literature. Ahbar is the plural of hibr or habr, by which we may understand Jewish Doctors of Law. Later the term was applied to those of other religions. (5.44)
752 They were living witnesses to the truth of Scripture, and could testify that they had made it known to the people: Cf. ii. 143, and iv. 135. (5.44)
753 Two charges are made, against the Jews: (1) that even the books which they had, they twisted in meaning, to suit their own purposes, because they feared men rather than Allah: (2) that what they had was but fragments of the original Law given to Moses, mixed up with a lot of semi-historical and legendary matter, and some fine poetry. The Taurat mentioned in the Qur-an is not the Old Testament as we have it: nor is it even the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament, containing the Law embedded in a great deal of semi-historical and legendary narrative). *** The Jews who are so much villified by Muhammad and his followers were after all, the ones who inspired Muhammad to bring about a scripture for his pagan people.
It was the same denigrated 'Jews' who carried the torch of Monotheism throughout twenty one centuries while Muhammad and his followers who mock them, were steeped in idolatory and human sacrifice.
The historical record of the Jews speaks clearly for itself. It is Muhammad and his followers who have twisted history, perverted theology and edited and scripted their man made Quran.
Their own records prove these accusations beyond a shadow of a doubt.
The errors and falsifiactions of history and theology by the interpreters of the Quran are as usual, glaring and clear.
First, Moses did not give the revelations to the Jews - who did not exist at the time - but to the Israelites.
Second, the verse above makes it crystal clear that Allah entrusted the Torah to the rabbis to protect it.
Third, Allah does NOT accuse them of having perverted its words but only warns them not to do so.
Fourth, no one has tampered with the Torah as is alleged since neither the interpreter nor any Muhammadan that has ever lived or will ever live has the alleged 'original' upon which they can show this to be true.
Also, most of the pre eminent Muhammadan exegetes agree that the TEXT of the Bible was NEVER tampered with but only in translating the MEANING of some verses.
Moreover, IF the Torah that is mentioned repeatedly in the Quran was ALREADY falsified, as alleged by some of the totally ignorant followers of Muhammad, then the Quran is also false since it was using the Torah as a fountain for its own veracity and Allah would not have inserted these verses in it if it had already been tampered with.
Fifth, Moses was of course a Muslim, since he was a Monotheist, a believer in the One and Only God. So of course were and are all his followers, the Israelites and their descendants, the Jews.
Finally, the only book that can be shown, that without a doubt, to have been repeatedly altered and tampered with to suit, is actually the Quran ***
